You can now take a stroll through the garden without being handed a spade or a rake. The garden is split into three main areas – and each area is home to a number of smaller ornamental or productive gardens. Click on one of three icons below to select the area you wish to explore – or use the drop down menu to go straight to a specific garden.

ORNAMENTAL GARDENS

Surrounding the pond and main lawn are a myriad of themed gardens each of the size of an average domestic back garden.

Area Position

PRODUCTIVE AND TERRACE GARDENS

Veggie plots, orchard and polytunnels form the productive area of the garden.

Beechgrove Terrace borders this and is a row of front garden sized themed gardens.

GREENHOUSES AND TRIALS

6 greenhouses, and a potting shed is where most of what is in the rest of the garden begins.

The trials area allows us to test out new methods and new varieties in controlled conditions.

At the base of the trials area is the Silver Garden, a garden in development that marks the 25th anniversary of Beechgrove that was in 2003.
