Glasshouse and Trials Area

The Glasshouses and Trials area is at the base of the hill and is nearest our tool stores and office. It consists of 3 terraced areas. The lowest terrace is home to the Silver Garden. The Silver Garden was created in 2003 when The Beechgrove Garden celebrated its 25th anniversary. 2008 marked our 30th year, and so we've added a 'pearl' border to this garden. 

The middle terrace is home to our trials plots. Here we can try out new varieties or methods of growing in a controlled environment.

Finally, the top terrace houses our 6 greenhouses and potting shed, where many of our plants start life. This is the busy hub of the garden.
