Robinson Greenhouse

This house is split into two parts. We use the front half as a display house, mimicking the old Victorian style of display where the gardener's greenhouse production skills could be shown by the production of a display full of tender perennials and annuals. We try to get as much colour, scent and texture as is physically possible into this small area.

The back half of the house is where we stock the tired plants from the display and also the plants preparing to go on show. This type of growing is pretty labour intensive as the plants need to be deadheaded every couple of days, watered daily, monitored for pest and disease and fed on a weekly basis, but it is well worth the effort.
