Potting Shed

The potting shed is really the hub of the glasshouse area, and it's also one of the cosiest spots on a cool or rainy day. We do most of our potting up in this shed, as well as a lot of seed sowing and propagation. The large potting bench gives up space to work, and with the Serac propagation house just a couple steps away, the seeds or cuttings can quickly be put in the propagator.

However, the potting shed is more than meets the eye. As well as being used as mentioned, the shed has been specially designed for filming purposes. The windows along the front can be removed so that the cameras get a clear shot of whatever the presenters are doing. This method of filming means that the cameramen can get shots of even the trickiest techniques.
